Crowded House

It's been on the back of my mind that the tomatoes needed to be transplanted.

Our "hometown" pharmacy gave us a neat little Rockwell Calendar at the first of the year.  I keep it on the fridge.  Inside, there is a "Planting With The Moon" guide.

Since I need all the help I can get with this gardening stuff I pay attention to the suggestions on it and try, if I can, to comply.  I knew last weekend that this weekend would be better for transplanting as the "Moon is in Pisces".

I was having a white night again this morning.  Why fight it?  So I got up at 2:30 and thought, "Why wait till tomorrow what you can do in the wee, wee hours of the morning?"  Plus, it's a pretty quiet job so I wouldn't be waking up SM with banging things around.

It's getting crowded around here.

"OK guys...You've only got about 4 to 6 more weeks of living inside.  Best get your game face on."

  1. I think that the tomatoes will be much happier in their new bigger pots!!

  2. Glad your rowdy tomatoes didn't wake SM up in the middle of the night! ;) But they sure are looking good and well behaved!

  3. What a great gift from your pharmacy. All I ever get is a bill. Humph.

  4. Glad to hear I'm not the only one that sometimes gardens in the *wee* hours. My husband thought I was a burglar once: I was out with a flashlight *hunting* snails and slugs in my hostas!

  5. It actually crossed my mind that if it was warm and the moon was out I'd be outside poking around in the garden. (Grin)
