7 Minutes

I wonder how much rain you can get from a thunderstorm lasting 7 minutes?

It poured and then it sprinkled.

I'd have been happy with an hour of the stuff...but that's not how it works.

Here and then gone.  But we'll take what we can get and be grateful for it.

  1. Tami - rather rain of 7 minutes than an hour of downpour - that kind of rain does serious damage to the topsoil.

But I know what you mean, rain is always welcome here too :-)

  2. I would do a dance for 7 minutes of rain at this point. At least you dont have to water that day.

  4. TWC says we got 1.12 inch. Ha! I'm thinking a 1/2 inch, maybe.

But the good news is that later this week we start back up again with the "chance" of rain cycle.

You should see how everthing popped back up today!

Dodged that bullet for this week at least.
