What a colorful parade! Two years ago, our town leaders chose to change the parade time from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. What?! (Splutter-splut!) What little kids isn't tired and cranky at 8 p.m. on July 4th? And what about all the kids in the parade? What shape are they in after waiting the whole day for it to begin? Eight o'clock at night for a 4th of July parade. Hrumpf. Can you tell I'm not in favor of the change?
