Yawn

No motivation.

It's so hot.

I feel like I'm just walking around sleepy all the time.  Is that what the heat does to you?

Not interested in cooking.  Could care less about the dozens of projects that could be done.

All the Ikea shelves in SM's office are still bare.  I can't get him motivated either.  The deCrapification has come to a screaming halt.

Think I'll take a nap.  Casey's got the right idea.

Yeah...a little snooze would be nice.....

SM says that we just have to get through today and tomorrow.  100 degrees both days.  No rain, so the sprinkler has been employed to keep the garden from spontaneously combusting.

Next week though we get a break.  Highs in the 80's with a 60% chance of rain everyday.  It'll be nice to break this pattern.  Don't be suprised to hear the collective sighs of everyone on the East Coast come Monday.

Till then...(yawn...)

  2. Beans, squash and berries to pick and freeze....109 forecast for tomorrow, so I'd better get busy today! I hope my potatoes don't bake in the ground, I haven't got enough butter for all of them at once ;-)

  3. Tomorrow our heat starts...soaked the gardens and orchards yesterday and today...will spend the rest of the week laying low and napping.

    Your pups are hoots! Such characters! Lucky you and lucky four legged friends.

  4. We're not even as hot as you and we feel the same way. Kinda dumb and dopey. With no energy at all. Gosh, I so hope you get at least some rain next week. With a 60% chance every day, by all rights you should get a bit. Fingers crossed for you.

    That picture of the pup is somethin' else! :o}

  5. Hot weather does sort of take the ambition away! We will be in the 80's thankfully next week but no rain probably. Nancy
