Big, Fat and Fluffy

We had a grey, cold, rainy kind of day here Saturday.  The kind that keeps you holed up inside.  Which was fine with SM and I as neither of us had slept well the night before.

So we tried to nap.

Nope.  Not happening.

Right around 5pm though big, fat fluffies started coming down and we perked up right quick.

Now I know most of you are sick unto death of snow.  I can't blame you a bit.  It's one of the reasons why we moved down here in the first place.  But I can sure appreciate a pretty snowfall every once in a while.

Sure is pretty, isn't it?

OK...You can melt now.

I'm ready for Spring, aren't you?

  1. Very pretty! Especially when it only sticks around for a day or so :)
I keep itching to put some peas in the ground, but Paul says I'm nuts.
Not going to argue with his observation of my mental status....but will still plant the peas, darnit!

  2. Yes, spring is right around the corner. We are about 40 mins northeast of Raleigh and got the big flakes early, then a fine snow the rest of the day. We ended up with about 2inches.

  3. As I look outside right now most of our snow has melted but it is still cold and windy! I just want it gone as there's work to be done outside.

  4. You're right, it sure did make a pretty landscape for you. And stop whining, you big baby! ;o} You know in your area it's gonna melt quickly. Then you'll have some mud. Hee-hee.
